Complete Overhaul


I have attempted to create a summary of all the improvements I have done to the game here, though there may be some things I have missed adding, the original version (windows executable) is still available if anyone is really curious to see the scope of the differences.

New art: All art have been replaced with a few exceptions, being the player dragon, the turtle, and sheep, and some ground/water patterns. With that new art I also made new animations, for the beetles, a dragonfly and a butterfly, humans, a windmill with rotating wings, ducks in the water, and gates. Unfortunately there is no animation for the water at this point. In the last image in this devlogs attachments you can see the art in the original version, I'm particularly happy with the environmental changes like the trees and cliffs and water's edge as well as reeds and water lilies. All text and instructions have been remade to keep a consistent scale and design. The buildings in the original version was in a 16x16 bit size while the environment was 8x8, I created the art for the new buildings scaling them down to 8x8 bit so they wouldn't feel out of scale with the rest of the game, the only exception is the castle in the final area which is modified version of the artwork created by Eder Muniz "https://edermunizz.itch.io/free-pixel-art-overworld-tileset"

Sounds: I have added many more sound effects to flesh out the soundscape. Content: The game have also expanded with 8 more areas (with much new art) including one new biome (swamp/ruins). New puzzles using pressure plates.. And an additional little boss-fight during the game.
